Independent Foreclosure Review

Independent Foreclosure Review Video #2

The Independent Foreclosure Review Program was established to provide homeowners with financial compensation for:  Mortgage servicing Errors, Misrepresentations, or other Deficiencies that have also been referred to as “Egregious Violations of Law”.  While applying for the financial compensation it will be your job to document the financial injury you’ve experienced as a result of these errors, misrepresentations or deficiencies.  In order to apply there are a few requirements that we will go over now:

1st your mortgage will need to have been serviced by one of these companies listed here:

America’s Servicing Co., Aurora Loan Services,BAC Home Loans Servicing,Bank of America,Beneficial,Chase,Citibank,CitiFinancial,CitiMortgage,Countrywide
    EMC,EverBank/EverHome Mortgage Company,Financial Freedom,GMAC Mortgage,HFC,HSBC,IndyMac Mortgage Services,MetLife Bank,National City Mortgage
    PNC Mortgage,Sovereign Bank,SunTrust Mortgage,U.S. Bank,Wachovia,Washington Mutual,Wells Fargo,Wilshire Credit Corporation

2.  2nd you will need to have been part of a foreclosure action on your primary residence during the period of January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2010.  This means you were delinquent on your mortgage and the bank proceeded toward foreclosure.

3rd You only have until July 31, 2012 to submit the application.  The application is free but we always recommend sending by certified mail and keeping a receipt for your records.  One of the early criticisms of the program was that the application was mailed by the processor and not available by download.  If you have not received the application that was scheduled for delivery by the end of 2011 you can call the processor (at 1-888-952-9105, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–10 p.m. ET or Saturday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET) Or We have also made the application available free of charge with video instructions in our FalconDox software at

The Independent Foreclosure Review was established to help homeowners through the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and the worst foreclosure crisis this nation has ever seen.  Every eligible party should make the most of it and get their hands on an application.  In part 2 we will discuss the finer details about completing an application and why for some sending in a blank application will likely be their best move.  I am Damian Falcone and this is Get Settled
